A stronger civil-society voice in food security.

Strengthening civil-society participation in Somalia’s food-security architecture.

Working within the coordination system

The Somalia Food Security Cluster is formally co-led by FAO and WFP. SCSA-SUN does not replace formal cluster leadership. It strengthens the system through organized civil-society representation, local knowledge, subnational reach, localization, and accountable delivery.

Our contributions

  • Civil-Society Convening: organizing participation around shared priorities.
  • Community Intelligence: connecting local knowledge with coordination discussions.
  • Localization: supporting meaningful local leadership.
  • Response Coherence: encouraging connected and complementary action.
  • Accountability: bringing community feedback into decisions.
  • Subnational Reach: connecting national dialogue with local institutions.

Locally rooted. Nationally connected. Ready to collaborate.

Work with a Somali-led alliance that connects community knowledge, civil-society capability, national coordination, and accountable delivery.
